ALEKSINAC,
April 5/6, Eastern Serbia, FRY
On the night of April 5th NATO committed another
atrocity. Among other civilian targets town of Aleksinac
was burned to the ground by NATO bombs. As for now, 10
civilians are dead and 40 are wounded, search for
survivors is still on. 6th April of 1941 is repeating,
when fascists bombed Yugoslavia. Does bombing campaign
is "humanitaria action"?
Western media's are talking about more and more
refugees. What they are not saying is that people are
leaving their homes because of NATO bombings. What are
the people of Aleksinac that are left without their
homes? Aren't they refugees? City that has been built
for centuries is now consist only of ruins.
Every day of NATO aggression is hardening of
humanitarian crisis of all people that live in Serbia
and Yugoslavia. If bombing continues, it will bring only
more destruction.
Pictures of destroyed Aleksinac speak for themselves.
And those who were closing their eyes before fascists
results of 'relief operations' now must admit that these
are not selective military targets, but houses with
people living in them.
